As an added challenge this week, I wanted to write a column completely in English. Do the best you can, and if you have difficulty understanding a word or you think you need something explained, ask a native speaker to help you; it’s a great way to start a conversation.
Most students do not like tests which is understandable. However, tests are a great way to learn. Sometimes, we don’t even realize what we don’t know until we are tested. So, I have a test for you. The objective of a test is to show you what you know and what you don’t know, but more importantly a test is meant to provide you with an opportunity to learn from your mistakes and reinforce what you know.
I. Each sentence has an extra word which must be removed. Can you find it?
